SUSSEX SENIORS SOUTHERN COUNTIES FOURSOMES FINALS
Having qualified previously, Sussex Seniors Team played at. Weston-super-Mare Golf Club in the Finals of Southern Counties Foursomes with Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, and Bedfordshire. At lunchtime we were marginally ahead with 3 1/2 points to Glocs and Herts on 3. After a very close fought afternoon, Sussex and Herts finished tied in first place on 7 points. The title was decided on total number of holes up. Having won one of the afternoon matches by 8&7, Hertfordshire took the title. Congratulations to all the Sussex team below on their excellent play and team spirit.
