Challenge League vs Kent Golf

The Challenge League team had their last league match against Kent at Chislehurst Golf Club on Sunday.

Even though Sussex was 3 matches up in the morning it got very tight through 11 holes. We had 3 wins in but we needed another half or win to get Sussex across the line.

Steve Watts and Duncan Scott were both 4 down in there matches. With Duncan going down the 18th a/s but unfortunately loosing to a birdie from Kent put Duncan 1 down. Steve Watts put up a good fight and pulled back from 4 down through 6 to winning 3/2 over Kent.

Therefore meaning Sussex got a team win over Kent 7-5. Well done to all the players as they turned up and never gave up.
